Dear Kristen and Colleagues on the DH2026 Programme Committee, Thank you for your message and for sharing the updated Conference Protocol. I am afraid I was completely unaware of last week’s meeting. It seems that the earlier PC2026 welcome message in July was automatically placed by my inbox into a separate folder (please see attached screenshot), and I did not receive any of the subsequent message and reminders. For some reason, only Kristen's post-meeting email reached me directly. I really apologise for missing the meeting and for any inconvenience this may have caused! Please rest assured that I am fully at the disposal of the PC moving forward. I also want to confirm my agreement that the conference language should be English, with local adjustments where appropriate to reflect the cultural context of each year’s host. Hi Wonhee, My apologies -- I’ve been sick this week and, unfortunately, wasn’t able to make our meeting. I did want to reach out and ask if the co-chairs would consider setting a standing meeting for the planning committee. I feel conscious that our group has only a two-hour window (5am or 6am Pacific / 9pm or 10pm Korea) where we can meet in somewhat reasonable hours given our time zones. I’m thinking of those of us on the Pacific time zone who need to get up at 4:30am to be ready for the 5am Pacific.
