Dear Kristen and Colleagues on the DH2026 Programme Committee,
Thank you for your message and for sharing the updated Conference Protocol.
I am afraid I was completely unaware of last week’s meeting. It seems that the earlier PC2026 welcome message in July was automatically placed by my inbox into a separate folder (please see attached screenshot), and I did not receive any of the subsequent message
and reminders. For some reason, only Kristen's post-meeting email reached me directly. I really apologise for missing the meeting and for any inconvenience this may have caused!
Please rest assured that I am fully at the disposal of the PC moving forward. I also want to confirm my agreement that the conference language should be English, with local adjustments where appropriate to reflect the cultural context of each year’s host.
I look forward to the next meeting and to the conference in Korea!
With thanks again, and best wishes from Galway,

Dear DH2026 PC,
It was wonderful to meet you today, and I look forward to seeing the results of your fruitful work over the course of the next year.
For continued reference, I share the
Google
Doc version of the Conference Protocol (CP). I can confirm that this was the document voted on by COB in April. I have also corrected the error in the
website
version of the Conference Protocol, so they are now in line with each other and reflect the change of the conference language to English plus the opportunity for
a second language. It remains up to the PC how expansive or simple to consider the question of language as it relates to the CFP and submission/review process.
Thank you all for your work on this Committee! Your perspectives and considerations are absolutely crucial to the success of the DH conference, and therefore to the value and mission
of ADHO as a whole.
Best,
Kristen
