Registration and Keynotes for DHd2022 Potsdam (virtual DH conference)
Dear All, The local organizers of the University of Potsdam and the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam have decided to move the conference "DHd2022: Cultures of Digital Memory https://www.dhd2022.de" in Potsdam completely online. The University of Potsdam and the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences are now pleased to serve as virtual hosts for the Digital Humanities community from March 7-11, 2022. Registration via ConfTool < https://www.conftool.net/dhd2022/> is still possible and virtual participation is free of charge thanks to generous support. The scientific programme of the annual DHd-conference is as diverse as the German speaking DH community. We would like to welcome you to be our guest and contribute to the discussion. Highlights from the Conference Programme: - We are especially delighted to announce Amalia S. Levi (University of Bonn’s Center for Dependency and Slavery Studies) as our opening keynote speaker. Amalia S. Levi will showcase in her talk “Filling the Gaps: Digital Humanities as Restorative Justice” (in English) how imperial legacies are still shaping how archives, libraries, and museums organize and present world memory. Kathrin Passig will address questions of the “size” of Big Date in her keynote with the title “Rucksack der Rechenzentrum (in German).
