Enriching images with words and words with images is more important than ever. That's why the focus of a starting event is on image-based research. Hi all, As you may have seen on other lists, we're looking for a postdoc computational literary studies. The postdoc position is part of the project 'ImpFic: The Impact of Fiction'. Within this project we investigate the impact fiction can have on readers. We use a large corpus of electronically available Dutch-language (original and translated) novels and a large collection of online book reviews. The aim of the project is to translate concepts of literary theory about how literature works into a computational form suitable for computational analysis of books and book reviews. The position is for 3 years at Huygens ING (Amsterdam) and is a collaboration with the Netherlands eScience Center. EADH 2022 Call for Hosts The EADH Executive Committee invites proposals for Local Organisers (LO) to host the 2022 EADH Conference. The EADH Conference is organised each year that the annual ADHO Digital Humanities conference takes place outside of Europe, and has the objective to strengthen the scientific, institutional and cultural relations between the members of the DH communities in Europe and the Mediterranean area. EADH is particularly interested in proposals from institutions and regions that: • Have recently developed or are developing digital humanities communities and organizations; • Have not previously hosted an ADHO or the EADH Digital Humanities conference. Please note that the lead applicant must be a direct member of the EADH or of one of its Associate Organisations (currently AIUCD [Italy], DHD [Germany], DHN [Nordic Countries], CzADH [Czechia], and DH Russia). Organisation EADH Conferences are co-organised by two committees: The scientific organisation is conducted by a Programme Committee (PC) between 8 and 14 members and one Chair, appointed by the EADH Executive Committee. The local organiser may appoint up to two members of the PC. The PC decides the main theme of the conference, identifies and invites keynote speakers, produces and issues the Call for Papers, manages the review process, and decides the academic conference programme. The logistical organization will be the responsibility of a Local Organisation Committee, whose members and chair are appointed by the Local Organisers. Time Period and Venue Conference dates are decided by the Local Organiser, in consultation with EADH Executive committee. It is recommended that the conference takes place in the autumn of 2022. Other large DH-related conferences in Europe should be taken into account when fixing the precise dates. The venue must be an academic or cultural institution in the European and Mediterranean area in its broadest sense. The hosting institution should be able to accommodate a minimum of 300 delegates (including plenaries), at least three parallel sessions, and a communicative poster session. The Local Organizers must also have the infrastructure and organizational staff to guarantee online access to delegates and speakers. The availability of accommodations at accessible prices is an element that will be considered in the evaluation of the bid. Bids Bids should contain a preliminary budget and up to two pages describing the motivations and logistical opportunities offered by the proposed venue. Bidders must take into account the EADH diversity and inclusivity statement and the ADHO code of conduct. The venue for the 2022 conference will be decided by the EADH Executive Committee on the basis of: • Academic and social impact of the conference for the LO; • Logistical and economical adequacy of the venue (including costs of accommodations and availability of a childcare program); • The overall quality of the proposal. Bids should be submitted to secretary(a)eadh.org and CC to fabio.ciotti(a)uniroma2.it no later than June 30, 2021. Structure of the Conference The Conference should be a 2/3-day event, avoiding weekends. Workshops and training events can precede the official conference days, depending on the availability of the LO. Presentations will be organized in 90-minute slots. The conference should have two keynote plenary talks. Typical presentations are: • Long papers for theoretical or highly relevant methodological or technical issues; • Short papers to present research ideas, approaches and projects; • Panel or roundtable for one relevant topic discussed under different perspectives by 5/6 presenters; • Posters. One session of the conference is reserved for short poster presentations. Bidders in coordination with the Programme Committee are encouraged to propose alternative formats and innovative organization of the conference in addition to this general framework. Budget The conference must be financially self-sustaining or create a small surplus. Surpluses and deficits for conference finances are distributed at a ratio to EADH and to the local organizer according to this formula: 60% ADHO / 40% LOs. In case of loss, EADH backstop funding will not exceed €5,000. The EADH will also provide bursaries for young scholars. At least 50% of ADHO’s share of surpluses will be earmarked specifically for future conference travel bursaries and other pro-inclusion actions. The local organizers are expected to set six levels of registration fees: • Faculty and staff with a permanent contract, members of the EADH, associate organizations, and other constituent organizations of ADHO; • Faculty and staff with a permanent contract, non-members; • Faculty and staff with a fixed-term contract, members of the EADH, associate organizations, and other constituent organizations of ADHO; • Faculty and staff with a fixed-term contract, non-members; • Students, members of the EADH, associate organizations, and other constituent organizations of ADHO; • Students, non-members. Local Organisers are expected to set member/non-member rates so that the difference between member/non-member rates are higher than the EADH membership costs. Registration fees are recommended not to exceed €300 for the highest level of non-member fees to make the conference more accessible to the community. Social Programme Local Organisers are expected to arrange a diverse social programme, including a social dinner, that can contribute to the EADH community building. Usually, this social programme will highlight the local culture of the conference venue. Synergies and Possible Sponsorship Suggested collaborative activities range from hosting of workshops and tutorials to co-organisation of the conference or financial support. Such technologies have the potential to bring a wide range of benefits, blending advanced functionality with the physical environment. However, they also have the potential to drive real-world consequences through decisions, interactions, or actuations, and there is a real risk that their use can lead to harms, such as physical injuries, financial loss, or even death. These concerns appear ever-more prevalent, as a growing sense of distrust has led to calls for *more transparency and accountability* surrounding the development and use of emerging technologies. A range of things can—and often do—go wrong, be they technical failure, user error, or otherwise. As such, means for the ability to *review, understand and act upon* the inner workings of how these systems are built/developed and used are crucial to being able to determine the cause of failures, prevent re-occurrences, and/or to identify parties at fault. Yet, despite the wider landscape of societal and legal pressures for record keeping and increased accountability (e.g. GDPR and CCPA), implementing transparency measures face a range of challenges. This calls for different thinking into how we can better understand (interpret) the emerging technologies that pervade our world. As such, this workshop aims to explore new ideas into the nascent topic, collating some of the outstanding challenges and potential solutions to implementing more meaningful transparency throughout pervasive systems. The first issue <https://ride.i-d-e.de/issues/issue-11/> of RIDE dedicated to Tools and Environments was published in January 2020. *Reviews for the second issue will be accepted until the 30st of September 2021.* To guide reviewers through the review process and to create a structure for the evaluation, we provide *Criteria for Reviewing Digital Tools and Environments for DSE* that are supposed to be applicable to various types of resources. This is important in order to avoid multiple reviews of the same tool. *Background* In the introduction to his book *Software takes command *(Bloomsbury Publishing, 2013) Lev Manovich states that “software has become our interface to the world, to others, to our memory and our imagination”. Is the same happening in the world of digital scholarly editing? Certainly we cannot ignore their fundamental role in our daily scholarly practices and in the interactions with our objects of study. Insofar as tools shape scholarly editions, they also shape scholarly editing. A new RIDE issue is devoted to tools for digital scholarly editing. The aim of this issue is to: - contribute to the discussion about tooling in Digital Humanities, - bring to the forefront the instruments instead of the final products, - provide a venue for discussing best practices in the development and usage of tools, - list useful resources for all those involved in scholarly editing. Beyond that, we hope that the critical examination of digital tools draws greater attention to the (scholarly) achievements that their creation and maintenance imply. The journal *RIDE* was founded in 2014 to “provide a forum in which expert peers criticise and discuss the efforts of digital editors in order to improve current practices and advance future developments” (RIDE Editorial). RIDE is Open Access, reviews are published as HTML and downloadable as TEI. All reviews will be peer reviewed in order to reach a high quality level of the evaluations. The special issue on Digital Tools and Environments for DSE will be edited by Anna-Maria Sichani (University of Sussex) and Elena Spadini (University of Lausanne). *Submission details* Reviews are accepted in English, French, Italian, and Spanish. The length of the review can vary depending on how much the resource offers that is worthy of discussion (approximately 2000-5000 words). 1st Shared Task on Scene Segmentation in German Narratives We invite contributions to the 1st Shared Task on automatic Scene Segmentation (STSS) for German narrative texts. Scenes are time-, location- and plot-wise coherent units of a story, and can predominantly be found in narrative texts like novels or biographies. Scene segmentation is needed for a high-level content analysis of longer texts, but also for many subsequent tasks for NLP applied in longer narrative texts, since even modern methods struggle with processing text longer than a couple of sentences or paragraphs. Day of DH is a way to show how digital humanities happens in many different ways and is practised by a varied group of people. This Day of DH comes after a year of living in the virtual space and for that, it is more special. We have had a year of seeing human life and technology intersect intimately and seen its affordances and its limitations come to the fore virtual meeting after virtual meeting. So #dayofdh2021 provides us with an opportunity to share and reflect upon how a global pandemic changed DH, its directions, your research questions, and more. *The day of DH 2021 will take place on April 29.* This year the organizing committee is led by Loyola University Chicago and UCLA in the USA, the University of Guelph in Canada, and Università del Piemonte Orientale in Italy. Day of DH 2021 theme is MULTILINGUAL DH. However, they are under-represented in language technology and semantic web research. In this workshop, two recently awarded H2020 projects, Odeuropa and Polifonia, are teaming up to advance our understanding of how smells and music are represented in texts and structured data. The topics we want to address revolve around extracting references to smells, music, context, and visual information from text as well as relevant data describing their cultural, historical and political context, and model them in the form of interlinked knowledge graphs. This research has a strong interdisciplinary character, hence the workshop has the potential to attract researchers from diverse disciplines from both social sciences and humanities and computer science. Its potential impact is significant to many application areas including: preservation and valorisation of cultural heritage, data-driven policy making in cultural heritage, urban planning, artistic performances, applications for scholars in musicology and history, applications for museums, innovation in teaching, maintenance and exploitation of large catalogues, archives and libraries. 11th EUROPEAN SUMMER UNIVERSITY IN DIGITAL HUMANITIES "CULTURE & TECHNOLOGY" - 3rd to 13th of August 2021 UNIVERSITY OF LEIPZIG As some may remember the 11th European Summer University in Digital Humanities “Culture & Technology” to be held last summer in Leipzig had to be postponed to 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is to inform you that given that the DAAD has agreed to support the European Summer University again for two years, we have decided to hold ESU DH 2021 from the 3rd to 13th of August 2021 in Leipzig as promised. It will be organised together with the Forum Digital Humanities Leipzig[1] (FDHL). Although we are aware that the pandemic may hold still many challenges in store for us all, we are planning to meet with everybody in person in Leipzig. Should this not be possible we will put a plan B in place which could either mean having a hybrid event or, if the worst comes to the worst, a fully virtual one. We will just have to see what the next months bring. As in former years the Summer University is supposed to take place across 11 whole days. The intensive programme should consist of workshops, teaser sessions, public lectures, regular project presentations, a poster session and a panel discussion. At the moment a new ConfTool is being installed. All users of ESU’s 2020 ConfTool[2] as well as all the application documents submitted there in 2020 will be transferred to the new installation. As soon as the new installation is ready and we have updated ESU’s website[3] with information about the workshops which will be offered, we will come back with more information. How can we ensure that any Association that emerges has both the authority and representation to speak on behalf of DH communities of practice? The aim of this workshop is to discuss the policy areas in which DH interests need to be heard, and discuss some shared, strategic challenges where a united voice of those working in DH is needed. What could be the digital humanities' Hugging Face?

BUT HOW SHOULD WE TEACH DATA LITERACY IN THE HUMANITIES? The Digital Humanities are characterized by a cross-disciplinary and collaborative nature, by project orientation, hands-on practices and the use of cultural heritage data, and by the aim to integrate and create domain-specific knowledge with computational methods and tools while reflecting their application and use critically. As such Digital Humanities would seem to offer everything that students need to become not only literate in their specific Humanities field, but to acquire at the same time data literacy and skills like problem solving, computational and critical thinking. As the data which play a role in Digital Humanities are themselves multiform and comprise among other types visual, audio, geospatial, temporal, and statistical data, we can even say that by studying Digital Humanities students become meta- or transliterate and thus able to employ their knowledge, competencies and skills in very diverse social and professional domains. In order to support the claim that doing Digital Humanities involves becoming (meta- / trans-) data literate and to illustrate the acquisition of data literacy in diverse Humanities-specific courses offered at different levels of university education, we have brought together an international group of specialists. Survey - What is your experience of Google Arts and Culture? - new study

Dear EADH folks, (Apologies for cross posting, and I hope this is of interest to the list, given many of you work in/with the GLAM sector). Google Arts and Culture (GA&C) is now a major portal through which users can experience artworks and cultural artifacts from over 2000 galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM), from over 80 countries, worldwide. While the portal attracts large audiences, there has been next-to-no published research on the GLAM sector experience of GA&C. What is attractive about the platform to institutions? What benefits does it provide to the partner organisation? What was the experience of preparing and submitting material to GA&C? What issues are there regarding labour, permissions, copyright, and sustainability? What lasting effects will it have on the sector? We’re undertaking a study regarding the GLAM sector’s experience of GA&C, and perceptions of GA&C. We’re looking for those working within the sector to provide their anonymous opinion. We are asking for anonymous responses to give anyone in the GLAM sector freedom to comment. The survey will close on 15th Feb 2021. This lecture takes place within the context of the lecture series: DIGITAL HUMANITIES – THEORIE UND METHODIK “DATA LITERACY AND DIGITAL HUMANITIES” The digital universe is growing very fast and the amount of information contained in data is exploding. The mining of these data has ethical, social, and political consequences. In order to think through these consequences a new kind of literacy is needed, which could also be called ‘data literacy’ if we define it according to Chantel Ridsdale as “the ability to collect, manage, evaluate, and apply data in a critical manner”. BUT HOW SHOULD WE TEACH DATA LITERACY IN THE HUMANITIES? The Digital Humanities are characterized by a cross-disciplinary and collaborative nature, by project orientation, hands-on practices and the use of cultural heritage data, and by the aim to integrate and create domain-specific knowledge with computational methods and tools while reflecting their application and use critically. As such Digital Humanities would seem to offer everything that students need to become not only literate in their specific Humanities field, but to acquire at the same time data literacy and skills like problem solving, computational and critical thinking. As the data which play a role in Digital Humanities are themselves multiform and comprise among other types visual, audio, geospatial, temporal, and statistical data, we can even say that by studying Digital Humanities students become meta- or transliterate and thus able to employ their knowledge, competencies and skills in very diverse social and professional domains. In order to support the claim that doing Digital Humanities involves becoming (meta- / trans-) data literate and to illustrate the acquisition of data literacy in diverse Humanities-specific courses offered at different levels of university education, we have brought together an international group of specialists. UK-Ireland Digital Humanities Research Network Workshop: 'Capacity enhancement in DH: training and beyond' 15 December 2020 The UK-Ireland Digital Humanities Association<https://gtr.ukri.org/projects?ref=AH%2FV002163%2F1> (PIs: Prof. Jane Winters and Dr. Michelle Doran) is a network funded by the AHRC and IRC that brings together different stakeholders in Digital Humanities and related fields to consider and interrogate critically the concepts of sustainability, inclusivity, training, advocacy and career progression, among other key questions. Institutions and individuals engaged with the network will work to propose ways in which the UK and Ireland can build a collaborative vision for the field, and create new and sustainable long-term partnerships in alignment with the international community. The objectives of the workshop, organised for the network by King's Digital Lab, are the following: * Contribute to developing pathways to sustained, effective and widespread capacity-building for DH researchers in the UK and Ireland across disciplines, institutions and career stages. * Contribute to define specific pathways for training highly interdisciplinary humanists who are able to work across multiple sectors, including and beyond academia. * Contribute to the broad inclusion of communities beyond individuals based in research-performing organisations, including cultural heritage institutions, the arts and creative industries, and interested citizen scientists. * Provide opportunities for individual researchers to develop their skills and networks, and to contribute to international debates about the future of the field. * Consider and interrogate critically the concepts of sustainability, inclusivity, training, advocacy and career progression. It may not be a face-to-face meeting of the participants and the fans but let us not cross that bridge yet. Stay tuned. = = = = = = = = = = = = LaTeCH-CLfL 2020 is the fourth joint meeting of two communities with overlapping research goals and a similar research focus. The SIGHUM Workshops on Language Technology for Cultural Heritage, Social Sciences, and Humanities (LaTeCH) have been a forum for researchers who develop new technologies for improved information access to data from the broadly understood humanities and social sciences. The ACL Workshops on Computational Linguistics for Literature (CLfL) have focussed on applications of NLP to a wide variety of literary data. The first three joint workshop (LaTeCH-CLfL 2017, 2018 and 2019) brought together people from both communities. We count on this workshop to broaden the scope of our work even further, and to encourage new common research initiatives. Topics and content In the Humanities, Social Sciences, Cultural Heritage and literary communities, there is increasing interest in, and demand for, NLP methods for semantic and structural annotation, intelligent linking, discovery, querying, cleaning and visualization of both primary and secondary data. This is even true of primarily non-textual collections, given that text is also the pervasive medium for metadata. Such applications pose new challenges for NLP research: noisy, non-standard textual or multi-modal input, historical languages, vague research concepts, multilingual parts within one document, and so no. Digital resources often have insufficient coverage; resource-intensive methods require (semi-)automatic processing tools and domain adaptation, or intense manual effort (e.g., annotation). Literary texts bring their own problems, because navigating this form of creative expression requires more than the typical information-seeking tools. Examples of advanced tasks include the study of literature of a certain period, author or sub-genre, recognition of certain literary devices, or quantitative analysis of poetry. NLP methods applied in this context not only need to achieve high performance, but are often applied as a first step in research or scholarly workflow. That is why it is crucial to interpret model results properly; model interpretability might be more important than raw performance scores, depending on the context. More generally, there is a growing interest in computational models whose results can be used or interpreted in meaningful ways. It is, therefore, of mutual benefit that NLP experts, data specialists and Digital Humanities researchers who work in and across their domains get involved in the Computational Linguistics community and present their fundamental or applied research results. It has already been demonstrated how cross-disciplinary exchange not only supports work in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Cultural Heritage communities but also promotes work in the Computational Linguistics community to build richer and more effective tools and models. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following: • adaptation of NLP tools to Cultural Heritage, Social Sciences, Humanities and literature; • automatic error detection and cleaning of textual data; • complex annotation schemas, tools and interfaces; • creation (fully- or semi-automatic) of semantic resources; • creation and analysis of social networks of literary characters; • discourse and narrative analysis/modelling, notably in literature; • emotion analysis for the humanities and for literature; • generation of literary narrative, dialogue or poetry; • identification and analysis of literary genres; • linking and retrieving information from different sources, media, and domains; • modelling dialogue literary style for generation; • modelling of information and knowledge in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Cultural Heritage; • profiling and authorship attribution; • search for scientific and/or scholarly literature; • work with linguistic variation and non-standard or historical use of language. Invited speaker The workshop will feature an invited talk, as usual. The speaker will be Professor Elke Teich. We expect, optimistically enough, that it will be an actual talk but it just may have to assume a remote guise... Information for authors We invite papers on original, unpublished work in the topic areas of the workshop. In addition to long papers, we will consider short papers and system descriptions (demos). We also welcome position papers. • Long papers, presenting completed work, may consist of up to eight (8) pages of content plus additional pages of references; final camera-ready versions of accepted long papers will be given one additional page of content (up to 9 pages) so that reviewers’ comments can be taken into account. • A short paper / demo can present work in progress, or the description of a system, and may consist of up to four (4) pages of content plus additional pages of references. Upon acceptance, short papers will be given five (5) content pages in the proceedings. • A position paper — clearly marked as such — should not exceed six (6) pages including references. All submissions must adhere to the COLING stylesheets (for LaTeX and MS Word) posted at https://coling2020.org/coling2020.zip. Papers should be submitted electronically, in PDF, at https://www.softconf.com/coling2020/LaTeCH-CLfL/. Reviewing will be double-blind. Please do not include the authors’ names and affiliations, or any references to Web sites, project names, acknowledgements and so on — anything that immediately reveals the authors’ identity. Would you like the major Digital Humanities conferences to publish all accepted papers in indexed proceedings or in a special issue of a well-indexed journal, say, Digital Scholarship in the Humanities? Do your grant providers or employers care? This has been a burning issue for me, since my national research evaluation system (Czechia) hardly considers other type of publications, in particular conference papers. Uppsala University is hiring a Senior lecturer in Digital Humanities

Uppsala University is a comprehensive research-intensive university with a strong international standing. Our mission is to pursue top-quality research and education and to interact constructively with society. Our most important assets are all the individuals whose curiosity and dedication make Uppsala University one of Sweden’s most exciting workplaces. Uppsala University has 46.000 students, 7.300 employees and a turnover of SEK 7.3 billion. In case of different interpretations of the English and Swedish versions of this announcement, the Swedish version takes precedence. The Department of ALM (Archival, Library & Information and Museum & Cultural Heritage Studies) offers the Master’s Programme in Archives, Library and Museum Studies (archival studies, library & information studies, and museum & cultural heritage studies) and the Master’s Programme in Digital Humanities (DH). Doctoral studies in information studies are also offered. The department currently has around 20 teachers and researchers and six doctoral students. The Faculty of Arts has appointed the Department of ALM to host the development of the digital humanities as a new field for interfaculty and interdisciplinary collaboration within research, education and infrastructure at Uppsala University. This initiative is currently in an expansive phase that includes a planned centre of expertise and research for research collaboration and infrastructure support within DH. The senior lectureship is linked to this initiative. Duties: The position includes research, teaching and examination primarily within the Master’s Programme in DH, but there will also be teaching and examination in the Master’s Programme in ALM. The teaching in the position entails a capability to elaborate on broad and inclusive perspectives on digital humanities in a manner that is theoretically profound and practice-oriented. Moreover, a capability to provide an in-depth understanding for and knowledge of how digital methods, digital source materials and digital research infrastructures impact knowledge production in the humanities, the operations of different cultural heritage institutions, and the applicability of humanities competences in working life. Duties include planning and implementing an integration of mutually relevant courses and course modules between the ALM and Digital Humanities master’s programmes. Teaching duties includes leading, planning, course responsibility, course administration and supervision. Supervision of doctoral students in information studies may also be included. Management duties may also be included. The duties in the position also include following developments in research within digital humanities, archival studies, library & information studies and museum & cultural heritage studies and society in general that have importance for work at the University and conducting both campus-based teaching and distance teaching online. Duties include collaboration with researchers specialised in the digital humanities both at Uppsala University and at other higher education institutions. Teaching is primarily in English but teaching in Swedish may occur. Applicants who do not speak Swedish are expected to learn Swedish as a work and teaching language within two years. Eligibility requirements: To be eligible for employment as a senior lecturer, applicants must have a doctoral degree in a social science or humanities discipline with direct relevance to the duties of the position, demonstrate educational expertise and have the personal characteristics required to perform the duties of the position well. Eligible applicants to a senior lectureship are to have relevant teaching experience from higher education. The applicant’s educational expertise, the scholarly expertise and the professional expertise must be relevant for the position’s subject content and duties. For educational expertise to be considered adequate, the applicant is to have had at least 10 weeks of training in teaching in higher education that is relevant for the field, or equivalent knowledge. In case of special circumstances, the training in teaching in higher education can be completed during the first two years of employment. Eligibility requires documented ability to teach in English. Assessment criteria: When selecting among eligible applicants, equal weight is given to both scholarly and educational expertise. Scholarly expertise: When assessing scholarly expertise, scholarly quality is the primary consideration. The scope of the research, particularly its depth and breadth, is also prioritised. The ability to plan, initiate, lead and develop research and education at the doctoral level, and demonstrated ability to conduct community outreach are considered important. Documented experience of applying for and receiving competitive research funding and demonstrated ability to cooperate on research is a desirable merit. Teaching expertise: When assessing teaching expertise, primary emphasis is on teaching quality. Teaching expertise is to be well documented. The scope of teaching expertise, both breadth and depth, are also considered. The ability to plan, initiate, lead and develop education and teaching, to supervise and conduct examinations on all levels, and to link teaching to research are given significance. Teaching expertise includes the ability to interact with actors within and outside of Uppsala University relating to teaching in higher education. Documented experience of teaching in Swedish is a merit. Equal care is devoted to assessing teaching expertise as to assessing scholarly expertise. It should be noted that the holder of the senior lectureship will have opportunities to participate in developing and influencing how DH is formulated at Uppsala University. Management expertise is demonstrated through the ability to lead organisations and staff, make decisions, take responsibility, and motivate and provide others with the conditions required to effectively achieve mutual goals. The ability to coordinate groups, to encourage commitment, inclusion and job satisfaction, and to manage conflicts are additional examples of demonstrated expertise. The ability to conduct outreach with the community and to share information about research and development will be considered. The ability to provide information about research and development is demonstrated through popular science activities, such as participating in informational activities, publishing popular science texts and participating in public debates on educational and research issues. Documented good collaborative skills are given particular weight.
