We are pleased to announce the Digital Humanities Workshop Context | Fluid Layouts and the Creative Industry, which will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at the Catholic University of Milan, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Room SF.109 (San Francesco Campus) and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Room SA.323 (Sant'Agnese Campus). The event investigates word and image narratives in the Renaissance as a model for reflecting on creativity in the current time. The workshop will focus on the presentation and collaborative production of artist’s books, both print and digital, as a means of reinterpreting the strategies of early modern intermedia workshops within the contemporary creative industry. The event is divided into two sessions: - The morning session will introduce the topic through the analysis of digital and material tools, featuring presentations by professionals and experts in the field. - In the afternoon session, students will have the opportunity to develop their skills through a guided hands-on workshop.
