Subject: [Pc2023] Reviewing process: calendar
Dear PC members,
I am still in Graz where I had the opportunity to check on the conference venue - it is quite impressive and I look forward to meeting you all here in July!
But before we can enjoy the conference, we have a few items on the to-do list...
The reviewers will be assigned on Friday, November 11th (there are still a few details to finalize before we can get to it, like reviewers who haven't picked topics or people registered with several e-mail addresses...).
The review period will last until December 15th. We are aiming at gathering 3 reviews for each short paper, poster or workshop and 4 reviews for each long paper or panel, that's 2595 reviews in total (to be written by 615 reviewers). It is very likely that we will miss a few of them when the review period is over.
This means that for the PC the phase between December 16th and December 22nd will be particularly demanding since we will have to do all the missing reviews then, before opening the response phase.
We just wanted to let you know this in advance so that you can get organized accordingly. We will get back to you to inform you on the progress of the reviewing process during the reviewing phase.
All best,
Anne
