Dear Andy,
The information on formal criteria and styles is deliberately kept very open.
There are no tight specifications on formatting and citation style (except that attention should be paid to logical structure and consistency).
Regarding formats, conftool will accept submissions in pdf, odt und docx formats.
Regarding the additional 100 words (that applies to most formats): conftool allows for a 100 words on top of the maximum word count for the different formats given in the cfp, to allow for the inclusion of bibliographical references in the conftool abstract
field.
Kind regards,
Walter

Dear PC colleagues,
More questions:
-
CFP on dh2023.adho.org
-
In the CFP it says, “Does the submission meet all formal criteria (abstract length, citation style, formatting
etc.)?”
-
I couldn’t find anywhere where it says something about “citation style, formatting, etc”.
-
Conftool
-
In ConfTools, it says for a Short Presentation, “Please note that the additional 100 words of the maximum length of the abstract is intended for bibliography only”. But, on 2023 website and in ConfTools, it says that the proposal should be 500-750 words.
-
So, is the proposal supposed to be 600 words? Or 750 and then there is another 100 words for a bibliography?
Best,
Andy
