She focuses on Transitional Justice in post-communist countries, particularly examining the collective memory of ethnic cleansing in the USSR and Soviet-occupied nations in Europe from the 1930s to the 1980s. The seminar delves into the often-overlooked narratives of women affected by ethnic cleansings during the Stalinist era in Central Asia. Through a gendered lens, it examines the unique challenges, traumas, and resilience displayed by women in the face of forced migration, violence, and loss. By highlighting these experiences, the anticipated discussion aims to enrich our understanding of the broader impact of ethnic cleansings and provide a platform for marginalized voices in historical discourse.
