#JobOpportunity: Researcher in Digital Humanities - MPI for Legal History and Legal Theory, Frankfurt
The Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in Frankfurt/Main, Germany invites applications for * one Researcher in Digital Humanities position (full-time, 3 years) for the research project Normative knowledge in the praxis of the Congregation of the Council. The production of normative categories and models for the post-Tridentine world headed by Prof. Dr. Benedetta Albani (https://www.lhlt.mpg.de/2732047/rg-albani-Normative-knowledge-in-the-praxis -of-the-Congregation-of-the-Council?c=2136899). The responsibilities include: * Developing knowledge graphs of historical data (data modelling / ontology design, query and analysis methods using SPARQL). * Further developing academic user interfaces (interactive web apps using R / Shiny, innovative publication formats) to link knowledge graphs, transcriptions, and image and map material. Salary is based on the German TVöD, up to salary group E13. Mobile working and flexible work hours in accordance with our works agreement are possible.
