Dear all, The PhD students in Digital Humanities at the Universities of Genoa and Turin are pleased to share with you the Call for Abstracts for the 2026 DH Days entitled “Practices, Limits e Perspectives: (In)conveniences in the Digital Humanities”. The event will be held on 25 and 26 May 2026 at the University of Genoa. The conference aims to explore the potential, challenges, and implications of digital technologies in the various fields of arts, linguistics, literature, and education. The initiative aims to encourage interdisciplinary dialogue and promote new connections between PhD students from different research backgrounds, in a manner fully consistent with the vocation of Digital Humanities. The program includes four thematic panels – Art, Entertainment and Heritage; Linguistics, Translation and Language Technologies; Literary and Cultural Research; Educational Technologies and New Learning Environments – which reflect the doctoral curriculum. Keynote speakers of national and international importance will participate at the event, including Prof. Vittorio Gallese (University of Parma), Prof. Stefano Moriggi (University of Modena and Reggio Emilia), Prof. Sophie Robert-Hayek (Sorbonne Université – Paris), and Prof. Giovanni Pietro Vitali (Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University – Paris-Saclay).
