Open position at the University of Turin on “Semantic services for knowledge extraction, reasoning and integration in the cultural heritage domain” We are seeking a candidate for a one-year (renewable) research fellowship (from June/July 2021) to work on EU H2020 Project SPICE (Social Participation and Inclusion through Cultural Engagement - https://spice-h2020.eu). The candidate will be in charge of designing and deploying a semantic service for knowledge extraction, reasoning and integration in the field of cultural heritage. This service will be integrated into the socio-technical infrastructure of the SPICE project (2020-23), allowing third parties to perform reasoning tasks on the representation of the artworks and of the responses provided by the audience, with the ultimate goals of enabling advanced curation processes. Requirements for this position are a Master degree or Doctorate in Computer Science. The salary is €19.541.
