The Institute for Digital Humanities in Göttingen (Germany) is seeking to fill a permanent position as Lecturer in Digital Humanities (E13 (wage grade according to the public sector pay agreement TVöD)/50%) starting on 1 July 2025. It is of course possible to apply for both positions. The application deadline is 9 May 2025. The Institute for Digital Humanities (IfDH) is one of the few university institutes in Germany where you can study Digital Humanities at bachelor's level and then go on to study for a master's degree. The programme is very broad and aims to cover as many humanities data domains and issues as possible. Particular research focuses on digital image and artefact studies, computer linguistics, computational literary studies and digital palaeography. At the IfDH, historical data from antiquity, the Middle Ages and modern times are currently being researched in text, 2D, 3D and 4D formats.
