Job: Junior Lecturer (Postdoc) Position in Computational Humanities at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland
(Apologies for cross-posting) The Department of Language and Information Sciences <https://unil.ch/sli/> at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, has an opening for a junior lecturer (postdoc) in computational humanities: 80%, up to 5 years, starting Feburary 1, 2026. We are specifically looking for persons who have recently obtained a doctorate in the broad field of computational humanities (digital humanities, computer science for the humanities, computer science or data science with a focus on applications in the humanities, etc.), or who are about to obtain one before the starting date. At least 50% of the workload will be dedicated to personal and collective research, and to carrying out a personal research project in the broad field of computational humanities, particularly in the theoretical, historical, methodological, and applied dimensions. A maximum of 50% of working hours will be devoted to supporting teaching tasks in the Computer Science for the Humanities and Digital Humanities programs, and to participating in and organizing the scientific activities of the department.
