Survey for Digital Humanities Professionals and Humanities Researchers Working with Natural Science Collections
We are conducting a survey to inform the implementation of the Distributed System of Scientific Collections (DiSSCo) research infrastructure. DiSSCo is a pan-European effort to digitally unify all European natural science assets under common curation and access. We *want to identify potential synergies between natural science and cultural heritage collections *and need an in-depth perspective of what the shared resources and potential synergies are and who the beneficiaries might be. We therefore request input from specialists working at the interface of humanities and natural science. We are interested primarily in what resources you would use and how you might use them (use cases), and the added benefit you would obtain. May we count on your participation? If you are able to help, you will find the survey here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfTf0zQRCk5mxIH_M_5Zhgx-Vm6szIHNOzI.... We kindly request that it be completed by 20 dec 2019. Your input is greatly appreciated and will help immeasurably in defining the role of cultural heritage in the future digital landscape of European natural science collections. +31717519235 +31638090770 tina.loo@naturalis.nl - www.naturalis.nl Darwinweg 2, 2333 CR Leiden Postbus 9517, 2300 RA Leiden https://www.naturalis.nl/over-ons https://www.naturalis.nl/lang-leve
