Dear colleagues, there is currently a job opening at the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Graz for a Digital Humanities Project assistant (without doctorate) in the "Liminal Waters" CHANSE project: https://chanse.org/liminalwater/ Please also distribute this information to your networks. Project assistant without PhD (pre-doc), 20 hrs/week, starting in September 2025, until January 2027 (hours could increase in 2026). Essential: * Proficiency in spoken and written German and English (minimum B1) * Experience with a web-based CMS (content management system) * Experience with configuring and administrating a (preferably Linux-based) server * Knowledge of core GIS (Geographic Information Systems) concepts * Basic spreadsheet and desktop publishing skills) * Basic proofreading and copy-editing skills * Basic image editing skills (i.e. resizing and formatting image files) * General understanding of online maps and (online) content creation * International experience (work or study experience abroad) Desirable: * Proficiency in other languages (especially Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, German, Greek, French, and/or Portuguese) * Experience with GIS software experience (ie.
