EADH is looking for a member to fulfill the role of secretary of the organization. The secretary is one of the officers of EADH and a voting member of the executive committee. Among the secretary’s duties is to schedule the executive meetings, take minutes of the same, and produce action lists and a report for the Annual General Meeting of the association. The secretary supports the Chair and the President by organizing polls, counting votes, and recording decisions made during online discussions. We are seeking an individual whose interests align with the aims of EADH and who would like to get more directly involved in the support of existing European collaborations as well as in the development of new research strategies. The multilingual and multicultural environment requires cultural sensitivity as well as a willingness to learn from others. Together with the other EADH officers, the secretary represents our association in the international settings of the Alliance for Digital Humanities Organizations and beyond. This presents an opportunity to explore the wider world of Digital Humanities and get to know colleagues from different backgrounds and with diverse lived experiences.
