We’re pleased to share a new study option at the University of Bern: the MA Major in Digital Humanities, launching in
Spring 2026.
This program brings together humanities, culture, and computation. Students will learn to work with real-world datasets and projects - developing skills in data curation and analysis, digital publishing, and project management - while building a strong critical
foundation for roles across cultural heritage, research, public sector, and industry.
