Towards a National Collection has an exciting open commission research call on Policy & Research Analysis to explore and collate the key relevant policies that should be considered in any design of a UK digital collections research infrastructure. This could include policies on accessibility, open access, digital skills, documentation standards, levelling up, among others. 

The objective of the consultancy is to analyse and distil the findings and recommendations of the research projects funded and commissioned by Towards a National Collection, and to match them to key relevant policies of UKRI, AHRC, the cultural heritage sector, as well as the UK and devolved governments. The consultant would work closely with the Programme Director and Senior Researcher, providing them with content to underpin their preparation of full Policy Recommendations.
