As in the past, the Summer School will maintain a hybrid format to accommodate a diverse range of participants. Attendees may choose to participate in person or join remotely via the Microsoft Teams platform.
The program is designed for scholars, researchers, and students interested in acquiring foundational knowledge and practical experience with digital tools currently shaping the humanities. The 2026 curriculum will focus on essential methodologies in Natural
Language Processing (NLP), Digital Philology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and the use of Artificial Intelligence tools in humanities research.
The Summer School (organized by Enrica Salvatori and Vittore Casarosa) is held under the patronage of CLARIN (European Research Infrastructure for Language Resources and Technology), AIUCD (Associazione per l'Informatica Umanistica e la Cultura Digitale) and
AIPH (Associazione Italiana di Public History)
