(Apologies for cross-posting) Extended Semantic Web Conference (ESWC) is a key academic conference for research results and new developments in the area of the Semantic Web and Knowledge Graphs. ESWC 2024 marks the 21st edition, which will take place from May 26 – 30, 2024, in Heraklion, Greece. ESWC 2024 features a Ph.D. Symposium which will take place May 27th, 2024. Call for Ph.D. Symposium The ESWC 2024 Ph.D. Symposium serves as a vital forum for Ph.D. students involved in Semantic Web and Knowledge Graph research to present their work, connect with peers and established researchers, and gain valuable feedback. The symposium is geared towards supporting students in honing the skills necessary for conducting and promoting their research, providing them with a chance to participate in one of the most important conferences in the Semantic Web domain. The submission categories, Early Stage Ph.D. and Middle/Late Stage Ph.D., don't impact the selection chances but guide reviewers in feedback and presentation format. The symposium offers a mentorship structure, assigning mentors to help students refine their papers and prepare presentations, along with opportunities for networking and discussion during presentations, a Ph.D. mentoring lunch, and other sessions. Overall, the symposium aims to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and skill development among Ph.D. students in the Semantic Web research community.
