**With apologies for cross-posting** The Language Technologies research group at the Institute for Applied Linguistics at Eurac Research (eurac.edu/linguisticshttps://www.eurac.edu/en/institutes-centers/institute-for-applied-linguistic...) in Bolzano, Italy, invites applications for a research position in Corpus Linguistics and Data Science. We are looking for a cooperative and proactive team member with an interdisciplinary and applied research profile. One of the first tasks of the selected candidate will be the relaunch and extension of Korpus Südtirol (http://www.korpus-suedtirol.it/). (S)he will also be expected to participate in the Computational Linguistics and Digital Humanities activities of the research group and to support other corpus-based projects within the Institute. These tasks include creating, annotating, processing and expanding corpus resources, particularly those local to South Tyrol, while contributing to the growth of the Institute through the development of new projects and the pursuit of funding opportunities. We foresee a full-time position for two years with a possible extension to a permanent contract. Interested candidates should submit their application by 10.01.2024.
