Liebe Listenmitglieder, über eine Mailingliste von US-Ostasienstudien-Bibliothekar*innen bin ich auf unten genanntes Webinar aufmerksam geworden und leite Ihnen/Euch den Hinweis auf diesem Wege weiter. Thema des Webinars sind Guidelines für Normdaten in nichtlateinischen Schriften im US-Bibliothekssystem der Library of Congress. Man kann sich anmelden und falls die Uhrzeit des Webinars aufgrund der Zeitverschiebung ungünstig ist, erhält man im Nachhinein einen Link zur Aufzeichnung. Ich dachte, da Normdaten samt LOD ein wichtiges Thema in den DH geworden sind, ist es evtl. auch aus internationaler Perspektive interessant zu erfahren, wie das Thema Normdaten in nichtlateinischen Schriften dort diskutiert wird und welchen Einfluss das dann u.U. auf DH-Forschung haben könnte, die Library of Congress Normdaten verwendet/verwenden möchte?
