Riham Mokrani (EPHE Paris) will present "Manuscript Meets Model: Digital Approaches to Arabic Paleography" offering a critical exploration of Arabic paleography at the intersection of traditional analysis and digital innovation. The presentation will focus on the application of digital methods in Arabic paleography, particularly the development of standardized descriptive frameworks for Arabic scripts through ontology engineering and the use of machine learning and computational models for script classification and manuscript analysis.
