Dear all,

It is time for us to consider whether to continue ADHO's Communications Fellows Program. I would like to open discussion with this committee about whether to continue the program over the next week. Therefore, could you please respond to this email with your thoughts by next Wednesday, April 6th?

I have provided links below to more information about the program. My own opinion is that the program, now in its second year, has been greatly beneficial both to ADHO and to the individual fellows. Each year, two fellows have worked closely with the Communications Chair to maintain an active ADHO presence on the website and social media. Each cohort has brought to ADHO creative ideas, enthusiasm for the community, and valuable skills in languages, writing, social media, and design that have greatly enhanced how we communicate with our members and with the wider digital humanities community.

In return, the fellows have learned more about how an international academic organization functions, have acquired new knowledge of the digital humanities field, and have gained experiences in professional content management and communication. This year, our fellows have added to ADHO's regular communications activities by also designing slides and a brochures, developing Twitter campaign for better engagement, and enhancing our multilingual social media communications.

Over the past two years, ADHO has budgeted 1200 Euros per year (600 per fellow) to support the program.

Thank you!
