Thanks Hannah for your message! We may start using Hootsuite.
We do the same in respect to the permission etc.
Do not hesitate to contact the EADH Communication fellows if you need
anything.
All the best,

Dear Antonio,
We use Hootsuite https://hootsuite.com to manage ADHO's Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ accounts simultaneously. Generally when we post third party content, we are reposting content that has already been publicly shared, so we do not seek permission. However, we do seek information, advice, and permission to post in cases when we are sharing news from a CO or other ADHO-related initiative that has not yet been shared publicly.
All best,
Hannah

Dear all,
Thanks for sharing this. The EADH Communication Fellows are facing the same difficulties regarding the PR, social media presence and the enhancing of the website. Also we are trying to sketch out an editorial workflow to assess quality. I was wondering whether how you manage to maintain equally fed Twitter and Facebook and whether you seek for permission before publishing content by third party institutions.

It's been a busy two months for the Communications Fellows and I as we handle post-conference communications and numerous content updates for the website. Our new fellows, Candice and Pietro, are doing a wonderful job having dived in head first to assist with social media during DH2016.
This email contains three items that I would like to get your feedback on:
1. John Nerbonne as asked committee chairs to submit a list of goals for the coming year. I have developed some based on Lisa's recommendations and areas where I see need for improvement. However, I would be grateful for your comments and further recommendations. Please see the attached Google Doc--if you choose to edit, please identify your edits with a color other than black and identify who you are in that color at the top of the document. *Please review and make recommendations by next Thursday, September 17th.* 2015-ComingYrReport https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ht6ocTxfKxujHP979S_MFABNtXtkLffiPpyC8YXP... 2. Related to the above list of goals, Candice has created a proposed template for ADHO presentation slides that we would like to receive your feedback on: presentation slides https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bzi-AYcGEb1Ha1hYamFTYWNSVHE0d3RHZzlidTRGbTl.... Please note that this is a low-resolution draft. If approved, Candice will create a high-resolution version. This will be posted along with the logo on the website and will become the first of a package of materials we hope to make available to members and conference coordinators. This design could also form the basis for a motif across a number of PR materials.
*Please review and make recommendations by next Thursday, September 17th.* 3. Discussion has resumed with the MLMC, the Infrastructure Committee, and the Steering Committee about whether a new webmaster is needed. I have recommended that ADHO does indeed need a Drupal developer if we hope to make the website multilingual, more accessible, and more usable. The Infrastructure Committee has expressed support for hiring a new webmaster, but the Steering Committee has not discussed the issue yet. As you may have gathered from the report, much of what has been proposed regarding the website may hinge on the presence of a Drupal developer. *I welcome your feedback on whether a webmaster is needed. If possible, I would like to include the Communications Committee's opinion on this issue in my report to the Steering Committee.*
Thank you all!
All best wishes,
