Subject: 2nd Annual Digital Humanities + Data Journalism Symposium: University of Miami, September 14-16
There's still space available at the University of Miami's second annual Digital Humanities + Data Journalism Symposium, featuring talks and workshops from leading practitioners from academic and journalistic backgrounds.
Our keynote speakers are Lynn Cherny (EM-Lyon Business School), Steve Duenes (New York Times), and Deb Verhoeven (Deakin University) -- and other speakers include Alberto Cairo (University of Miami,) Mona Chalabi (The Guardian), Dan Cohen (Northeastern University), Safiya Noble (UCLA), and Thomas Padilla (UC Davis). A full list of speakers and full schedule is available at the symposium website <http://dhdj.com.miami.edu/>.
The registration fee ($99) includes lunch on both full days of the conference, and access to a workshop on the final day of the symposium.
If you have questions, feel free to email me at this address, or contact our organization team at dhdj.info at miami.edu -- we hope to see some of you in Miami this fall!
