Ursula Franklin is being remembered in many obituaries. This snippet from
the Globe and Mail is characteristic of her wit and understanding:

She likened interdisciplinarity to going fishing with friends – someone
brings the boat, someone knows where the fish are, someone has skills at
recommending the best fishing equipment and all are friends.
