As many of you know, Agassi, a former disciple of Popper and a sympathetic critic of Polanyi, is a distinguished historian and philosopher of science.  However, less known is his radical educational critique and practice as a Socratic teacher.  Ronald Swartz and I put together many of Agassi's essays on education, some never before published, into this just published volume. Feel free to order the book for your university libraries, or for courses you may teach in the philosophy of education.
