Dear all,

Systems of Representation research group, together with Master of Arts and Doctor of Arts students at the Media Lab Helsinki, in collaboration with archeologists and scholars at the National Board of Antiquities have completed an interactive virtual reality installation of the 18th Century Dutch vessel, Vrouw Maria.

The simulation has been created as part of the exhibition Spoil of Riches – Stories of the Vrouw Maria and the St. Michel held at the Maritime Museum of Finland located in the grand Maritime Centre Vellamo in Kotka. The dates of the exhibition are 25 April – 02 December, 2012.

Check out the website URL below, for more information about the project and to see a video of the installation.
