Recently a colleague who like me is no longer in touch with the 
activities of the MLA wrote to say that it has been including digital 
humanities material in its annual bibliography for the past six years. 
So, a question for the better MLA-connected: how well has this 
organization been tracking the activities of the field? More about 
literary studies than other areas of interest? Within literary studies 
what in particular stands out as a majority concern?
