Ideas at the Interface of Computing and Culture

Centre for Cultural Research and School of Computing and Mathematics, 
University of Western Sydney

Ideas at the interface of computing and culture is a seminar intended to 
explore what computing as we conceive it can do for the study of human 
cultures and what that study can do to enlarge and extend our ideas of 
computing. Three short talks from the perspectives of computer science, 
archaeology, the digital humanities and cultural research will be 
followed by a panel discussion, questions and comments from the audience.
