ALL WELCOME

HESTIA (the Herodotus Encoded Space-Text-Imaging Archive) is an
interdisciplinary project that investigates the ways in which space is
represented in Herodotus’ History, and that aims to capture the ‘deep’
topological structures of the text beyond the usual two-dimensional
Cartesian maps of antiquity.

The seminar will be followed by wine and refreshments.

For more information please contact Gabriel.Bodard at kcl.ac.uk,
Simon.Mahony at kcl.ac.uk, Stuart.Dunn at kcl.ac.uk or Juan.Garces at bl.uk, or
see the seminar website at
http://www.digitalclassicist.org/wip/wip2009.html for a fuller abstract;
the audio recording will be posted at the same site shortly after the
seminar.
